The 2024-2025 season of Broadway at the Tennessee presented by Greater Knoxville Honda Dealers features a diverse lineup of stories set to come to life on the stage of the Historic Tennessee Theatre.

TINA includes eight performances from Dec. 3-8, 2024. TINA – The Tina Turner Musical is the triumphant story of the Queen of Rock and Roll set to the pulse-pounding soundtrack of her most beloved hits! TINA – The Tina Turner Musical presents Tina’s journey against all odds to become one of the world’s most beloved artists of all time. Featuring her much loved songs, TINA – The Tina Turner Musical is written by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Katori Hall.

SHUCKED includes eight performances from Dec. 31, 2024 – Jan. 5, 2025. The Wall Street Journal says SHUCKED is “flat out hilarious”…and nobody knows funny like economists. Featuring a book by Tony Award winner Robert Horn (Tootsie), a score by the Grammy Award–winning songwriting team of Brandy Clark and Shane McAnally (Kacey Musgraves’ “Follow Your Arrow”), and directed by Tony Award winner Jack O’Brien (Hairspray), this corn-fed, corn-bred American musical is sure to satisfy your appetite for great musical theater.

CHICAGO includes eight performances from Feb. 11-16, 2025. CHICAGO is still the one musical with everything that makes Broadway shimmy-shake: a universal tale of fame, fortune, and all that jazz, with one showstopping song after another and the most astonishing dancing you’ve ever seen. In the whirlwind of Chicago’s Jazz Age, two of the Cook County Jail’s most notorious murderesses — vaudeville star Velma Kelly and chorus girl Roxie Hart — become fierce rivals as they compete for headlines amidst a media frenzy.

MOULIN ROUGE! THE MUSICAL includes 15 performances from April 29 – May 11, 2025. Enter a world of splendor and romance, of eye-popping excess, of glitz, grandeur, and glory! A world where Bohemians and aristocrats rub elbows and revel in electrifying enchantment. Welcome to Moulin Rouge! The Musical! Baz Luhrmann’s revolutionary film comes to life onstage, remixed in a new musical mash-up extravaganza. Directed by Tony Award winner Alex Timbers, Moulin Rouge! The Musical is a theatrical celebration of Truth, Beauty, Freedom, and — above all — Love. With a book by Tony Award winner John Logan; music supervision, orchestrations, and arrangements by Tony Award winner Justin Levine; and choreography by Tony Award winner Sonya Tayeh, Moulin Rouge! is more than a musical — it is a state of mind.

BACK TO THE FUTURE: THE MUSICAL includes eight performances from May 27 – June 1, 2025. Great Scott! “Back to the Future,” the beloved cinematic classic is now a Broadway musical with its destination set for Knoxville in 2025! When Marty McFly finds himself transported back to 1955 in a time machine built by the eccentric scientist Doc Brown, he accidentally changes the course of history. Now he’s in a race against time to fix the present, escape the past, and send himself…back to the future. Winner of the 2022 Olivier Award for Best New Musical, when Back to the Future: The Musical hits 88mph, it’ll change musical theater history forever.

LES MISÉRABLES includes eight performances from July 29 – Aug. 3, 2025. Cameron Mackintosh presents the acclaimed production of Boublil and Schönberg’s Tony-Award winning musical phenomenon, Les Misérables. This brilliant staging has taken the world by storm and has been hailed as “a reborn dream of a production” (Daily Telegraph). Set against the backdrop of 19th Cenury France, Les Misérables tells an enthralling story of broken dreams and unrequited love, passion, sacrifice, and redemption – a timeless testament to the survival of the human spirit. The magnificent score of Les Misérables includes the songs “I Dreamed a Dream,” “On My Own,” “Bring Him Home,” “One Day More,” and many more.
