Registration opens today for 2024 Covenant Health Knoxville Marathon races

20th annual event set for April 6-7, 2024

On the heels of another successful Covenant Health Knoxville Marathon, registration is open for the 2024 races, scheduled for April 6-7. The celebratory event will mark the 20th year of the marathon.

“The success of this year’s event energized us, and we are excited to celebrate 20 years at the 2024 races,” Covenant Health Knoxville Marathon Race Director Jason Altman said. “We encourage everyone – no matter age, experience or ability – to sign up and set a goal. Now is the time to commit and save money on your registration fee.”

The Covenant Health Knoxville Marathon motivates schoolchildren, employees of East Tennessee companies and the community to be active for a healthier future. In 2023, 6,322 participants completed more than 54,000 miles during the races. Course routes showcase Knoxville’s neighborhoods, greenways and downtown. The 2023 event attracted area residents as well as international participants from Australia, Canada, China, Germany, South Africa and Vietnam.

For the 20-year celebration, organizers aim to attract even more participants and are planning for the biggest and best event yet. In addition to the races, the 2024 Covenant Health Knoxville Marathon will offer a health & fitness expo, post-race party and more for all to enjoy.

Registration is open at Current fees are $60 for the full marathon; $45 for half-marathon and two-person relay; $35 for four-person relay; $30 for 5K; and $15 for Covenant Kids Run. An increase in entry fees will go into effect at 11:59 p.m. Eastern time on Sunday, April 30.
