kso-indigo-girlsKnoxville, TN – March 10, 2014- The Knoxville Symphony Orchestra welcomes the Indigo Girls THIS SATURDAY as part of the Knoxville News Sentinel POPS Series. The concert will take place on Saturday, March 15 at 8:00 p.m. at the Knoxville Civic Auditorium.

Who: Maestro James Fellenbaum conducts the Orchestra and special guests The Indigo Girls, whose recording career includes fourteen studio records, three live records and three greatest hits compilations. Their albums have achieved seven gold records, four reaching platinum, one reaching double platinum, and cumulative sales in excess of 12 million records. The Indigo Girls have received seven Grammy nominations, one win – ‘Best Contemporary Folk Recording’ in 1990.
