Pannu400Jason M. Pannu has been named a shareholder in the law firm of Lewis, King, Krieg and Waldrop, P.C. He is based in the firm’s Nashville office and is licensed to practice law in Tennessee and Ontario, Canada.

Pannu, a native of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, joined the firm in 2005. He practices primarily in business and commercial litigation with an emphasis on the construction industry, as well as toxic tort and environmental law disputes. He regularly represents owners, contractors, subcontractors and design professionals in complex business disputes, breach of contract, professional negligence, and lien and bond claims.

“We are pleased to name Jason a shareholder with our firm,” said Lisa Cole, managing shareholder of the firm’s Nashville office. “He is an accomplished litigator who has already achieved prominence in his practice.”

In 2010, 2011 and 2012, Pannu was one of only 2.5 percent of lawyers under the age of 40 to be selected as a Mid-South Super Lawyers Rising Star for Construction/Surety Law. In 2010, he was one of 25 lawyers from across the country to be selected for the American Bar Association Tort, Trial & Insurance Practice Section’s Leadership Academy.

Pannu is a member of the Nashville Bar Association, the Tennessee Bar Association, the American Bar Association, Associated General Contractors of Tennessee, the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Canadian Bar Association. He serves as Secretary for the Tennessee Bar Association and the Tennessee Legal Community Foundation, an arm of the Tennessee Bar Association organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes.

The son of Patricia Pannu and the late Philip Pannu of Vancouver, British Columbia, Jason currently resides in Nashville, Tennessee. He enjoys ice hockey, tennis, cycling and golf.

Lewis King was founded in 1960 and today has 58 attorneys in its three offices in Nashville, Knoxville and Sevierville.
