Girl Scouts of the Southern Appalachians took National Girl Scout Week and the 110th anniversary of the founding of Girl Scouts to new heights at its second-annual Reach for the Peaks! Jennifer Pharr Davis, an internationally recognized adventurer, hiked up to the recently renovated Sunsphere with a Girl Scout troop and shared her inspiring story at a dinner Tuesday evening.
